1940 Caddy LaSalle was one of the more popular of a series that has been a Cadillac mainstay for 80 years. This luxury car was the choice of movie stars and celebrities all over the world. A total of just over 24,000 of the series 50 1940 LaSalles were produced and to find one today that looked like the day it left the Cadillac dealer showroom is rare indeed. We are extremely proud to present one such gem. This is a restoration job of such high quality and detail that it is by far the best we have ever seen. Restored by the renowned L. Stiegler of Hamlin New York, this classic is certainly the Best of Show quality. A winner at the prestigious Hershey Pennsylvania, Classic Auto Show in 1993, this car is certainly for the ultimate collector or museum. This is a 100% original car that has been meticulously resorted over a period of three years to the standard of perfection you can see in the photos we present. It features a 322CID engine which still delivers 14 miles to the gallon. It has been serviced and maintained by only the best mechanics and has never seen snow, rain or extended direct sun. The car comes with a tremendously documented history which includes over 100 photos of the restoration from day one to completion. Even a copy of the original sales invoice comes with the car. The previous owners took great care of this car. It deserves a new owner that will treasure and preserve it for future generations to see what past generations defined as automotive luxury.

For your protection, the actual pickup by your carrier must be authorized with a formal release by email or letter and the event will be photo-documented and sent to you as conformation along with the Bill of Loading and Delivery Receipt signed by your carrier. It is required we are advised a minimum of 48 hours ahead of your pickup date so the vehicle can be made ready for the carrier. All vehicles presented by Vintage Value Group are sold AS IS. Vintage Value Group provides a thorough service to verify the data and performance of all vehicles presented for sale/auction. However, we strongly recommend that bidders/buyers should have the vehicles inspected by a qualified service or individual before the closing of the transaction. We will take several hundred photos of each vehicle and additional photos can be requested at anytime during the sale/auction via email. Once the auction is closed, the sale/auction is final and the sales contract is final. VVG offers no warranty or guarantee outside of the features listed on each auction/advertisement page.
